Facilities

Camp Nauvoo offers these facilities:

  • The Lodge, is an all weather, two story, 40′ by 100′ cedar lodge.
  • Cabins - ranging in capacity from two bunks to 5 bunks per cabin.
  • RV’s - Pull through sites on level 60 foot long concrete pads with full hookups.
  • Other Facilities - Ball diamond, volleyball areas, half court basketball pad,childrens playground, and campfire site overlooking the Mississippi River.
  • Wi-Fi accessibility is available throughout the campgrounds.

Use Policy:

  1. Groups or families with youth under age 21 will have adult supervision at all times.
  2. The campgrounds are an alcohol and illegal drug free property and the buildings are smoke free.
  3. Each user of the grounds is expected to clean up after themselves before leaving. All trash and garbage should be put in plastic bags and placed in the dumpsters provided.
  4. Open fires are to be at the campfire site or in approved campfire equipment.
  5. All dogs (or other pets) will be on leash at all times when outside and owners will clean up after them.
  6. Users will provide their own bedding, pillows, towels, and fans.
  7. Parking of cars and trucks are to be in the designated parking areas only.
  8. These policies are short due to the fact it is assumed people using these grounds are responsible and reasonable people. Help us keep this opinion of our campers.

Reservations

  1. Dates: First choice of dates is reserved to the owner church until October 1, previous to the calendar year of use. After this date, reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. A tentative date will be held for 14 days after inquiry is made - give us a call for open dates.
  2. A day is 24 hours starting at noon and ending the following noon.
  3. Reservations will be confirmed with the receipt of the completed form, a deposit check of $50, and a certificate of insurance. The camp will return the deposit check, if after inspections, the camprounds are found to be clean. A checklist will be provided to help in checking the cleanup.
  4. Cancellations. Let us know at the earliest possible time. If cancellation is made prior to ten days before scheduled usage the deposit check will be returned. If less than ten days prior, you agree to pay 80 percent of the first night’s fee, using the estimated number of persons you show on the registration form. (We do recognize there can be some serious emergencies)
  5. Payment of the usage fee will be made upon arrival or in accordance with arrangements made with the camp manager.
